The tissue is very stiff and not pleasant against the skin. When used to assist wiping a child's face, they need to be gobbed up into a ball to allow for some flexibility in the tissue. The tissue is absorbent, and they are of standard size. The tissue is clean, and no big irregular fibers are in the tissue medium.. They are bright white and appear very clean. All those positive traits can not overcome the stiff, unpleasant touch and feel. They are ugly, but it should be noted that they are an "everyday" napkin. I have purchased everyday napkins that have been embossed. My daughters fold the napkins and put them into the napkin holder made by my father, and they notice it and refer to them as "UGLY"- Loud and with much enthusiasm. It was only lucky I found the review here today.

My husband is pretty picky with his choice of paper napkins. (Just give me a paper towel, that's fine by me.) My husband is no milksop, either. He just likes the softness of these and their ability to keep his face and hands clean. We use these every day and have for years now. They have no smell. We've actually had napkins that smell like cigarette smoke, but these have never had the problem of bad smells. So, to keep the martial bliss, I'll stick to these high-quality napkins.

Wayfair napkins have been a good choice for both everyday use or special occasions. The ones I received are called dinner napkins and are thin and a lot less absorbent and the tow layers separate easily making them a couple of thin papers which is not comfortable to use and get soiled fast.
