It did not irritate my skin or nipples. My clothes stayed dried -no leaks through my shirt! I am very happy with this product and will continue to purchase them while I am breastfeeding. I am a nursing mom of two and my supply is variable so I tend to leak a lot - I have used all kinds of different nursing pads but was excited to receive the Safe and Dry Ultra Nursing Pad by Medela from the weeSpring Parent panel. I want to first say that these are by far the thinnest pads I have ever tried - which made me nervous the first day when I wore them out. The pads are very discreet and you could not tell I was wearing them (a big difference from other brands). Despite their thinness and my concerns about them leaking - they were amazing. No leaks despite a lot of fluid on the pad. These pads kept my dry and comfortable all day long. They also worked well for me at the gym - they stayed put and kept me dry during my work out. Many of the other pads I have tried feel very rough on my skin or have a perfume to them - which I do not like. The Medela Ultra thin are so soft - more comparable to a cloth reusable pad than other disposables and have no scent. Another perk - the packing is thin and the pads are easy to tuck away in a bag or purse without taking up to much space. I received these for free but I will purchase in the future - these are the best nursing pads I have found!

I received these Safe & Dry Ultra Thin Disposable Nursing Pads from the weeSpring Parent Panel and I'm so glad I did! Being a mother of 5 who breastfeeds I've used my fair share of nursing pads. I never found pads that would offer the day and night protection and comfort that I needed. Receiving these Safe & Dry Ultra Thin Disposable Nursing Pads were a game changer. With a frequent nurser I would often leak and have the uncomfortable feeling of a damp nursing pad against my skin. These Safe & Dry Ultra Thin Disposable Nursing Pads kept me dry and comfortable, as I didn't have to feel the moisture of the absorbed milk on my skin. I've had nursing pads that absorbed my leaks, but it came at a price of wearing a bulky and embarrassing pad which was clear to see under my clothing. I was able to test these out as a part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I have used Medela nursing pads for two children now and have never had an issue with leaking. They have always been super absorbent. These are a step up from the Medela disposable pads I had been using. They're thinner and therefore more discreet and comfortable.

I just had my 2nd son a few months ago and I am again exclusively breastfeeding. My breastfeeding journey with my first son lasted a year with the first 2 months of which he was in the NICU. So you can imagine with him I tried every nursing pad on the market. Each one was either too bulky or didn't stick efficiently. When I finally settled on a nursing pad with my first son it was the Medala pads but they were still a little bulky in my opinion. So I was excited to receive the notice I was getting to try the new Medela product. I was hoping they had improved on an already pretty decent product and they have! You get the protection of the old product with a much similar design. These will definitely be my go to nursing pad. My only regret is not having them in the early months of breastfeeding when I was really having leaking problems.
