Jimmy Dean Stuffed Hash Browns with Sausage and Cheese, Frozen Breakfast, 4 Count

I can't believe the bad reviews! I saw these for the first time in Weiss and grabbed them without hesitation. I put it in the crisping sleeve on a small plate in the microwave for 2 minutes. Then when 2 minutes is up, I let in sit in the microwave for a few minutes before touching. It's surprisingly crispy and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend 10/10 for frozen breakfast food

I have enjoyed many Jimmy dean product. I have not found anytthing bad until I got this one. I can not believe we are selling this. when you microwave it, hash brown is soggy. So I even decided to fried a litle. surface got dried up but nothing like hash brown. then inside, taste horrible.

I am familiar with JD and enjoy your breakfast sandwich. So I purchased this one for my kid to eat in the morning cause school is back in, but the product had no seasoning, just salt. All I tasted was salt. Very disappointed, why did it had to have so much salt.

On the surface this is a decent breakfast option that doesn't include eggs. Unfortunately it is VERY salty. The saltiness seems to mainly come from the hash brown and less so the cheese and sausage. Ketchup can cut down on the salty taste to a certain degree. Its so-so for actually being crispy, more than you would expect for anything microwaved, less for what you expect from hash browns. Also, for it to be uniformly "crispy" take it out of the cooking pouch after its been microwaved. The underside gets soggy while its cooling if you don't. Overall if it wasn't so salty, and the hash brown outside was thicker, it would be pretty good.

The sausage was tasteless and the cheese was sharp and bitter. In fact that was the only taste they had because the potatoes encasing the sausage and cheese product were bland. Frankly I expected a much better product from Jimmy Dean. Ate part of one and threw the rest out!
