I found this product did not meet my most minimal standard. The bike came damaged, scratches, and on the first outting a pedal broke in two places. I think the bike might work for a person who is well under 6 ft. tall and less than 145 pounds, not a tall bulky man.

As a Motorized Bicycle builder this platform turned out to be one of my favorites. Everything went on just as I planned.I have built two with great success. The bike itself is fairly well built. The seven speed derailleur and braking systems as well as wheel/spokes needed some serious fine tuning necessary to contend with the higher anticipated speeds but all in all a great bike.Strong but light Hi-Ten steel frame, alloy rims, stainless steel spokes, nice wide cruiser handle bars, comfy springer seat. For the price a 4.5 out of 5 star buy.

I assembled this bike myself, and it rides nicely. The wheels were out of true (kind of to be expected), so I called Pacific Cycles service. They sent me replacement wheels without any hassle. The only thing I don't like so much are the handlebars; they come too close to the body when you're riding. Kind of like walking behind a plow. If they bother me too much, I'll replace them.

This is a nice bike, just great for the money. The only advice is: check first if you feel comfortable riding it. It rides very well and it felt very comfortable riding on a flat surface, but because of the shape of the handle bar I found that it was very tiresome to go uphill.

I should have packed it up and took it back when I noticed the front emblem was upside down *NNIWHCS", but noooooo, I'm stupid, so I continued the assembly process. Two friends came over and jumped right into it. After THREE HOURS we still could not get the handle bars completed seated and the brakes, ha ha ha ha. After compressing the brake levers, the brake pads on one side (front and back) would not release from the rim. We read the instructions over and over and screwed and unscrewed everything possible concerning the brakes with no success. I picked it up today and it's going back tomorrow.
