Huffy Cranbrook; 26" Ladies Bicycle

We bought the cruise style bike because we use it while camping by the ocean. Salt air by the shore will rust up any chrome parts and especially hand brakes and gear changers. The cruiser does not have any of that. Therefore we expect a long life from this very simple and heavy-duty bicycle. We also added a big old-fashion Wald basket on the front. Happy cruising!

I rode it home from WalMart (about 5 miles), and loved every minute of my ride! It's a very comfy bike to ride, and drew appreciative stares (or was that just my proud imagination?). I currently commute to work on a hybrid, but I'm thinking I may just switch to the cruiser. I've added a bell and a basket, and I am good to go!

I have had this bike for several months now and am very happy with it and love the color. I was very happy to see how well it is made. It came in double pkg in perfect condition. Easy to ride and very comfortable. I love it! I have had double knee replacements and was afraid to ride for a few years and now am happy to say, I am back and enjoying it even more than before.

I looked for a beach cruiser for several weeks. I tested each of the bikes that seemed appealing. What I learned from the test ride is that it's so important to feel secure, comfortable and be certain the bike is the right fit of your physical body. I'm in my 60's and had not been on a bike in 30 years! Many of the bikes I looked at were from private bike stores and they were two-three hundred dollars plus. A friend recommended me to Walmart and I found the Huffy Women's Cranbrook. I was only able to test ride the men's bike as the store was out of the women's model. Even riding the men's bike felt very comfortable. It took two weeks to get the bike delivered to the store (Site to Store). Free shipping and free assembly. I LOVE THE BIKE. I ride it most everyday and it's such fun. A bit of work on the lower body with no gears.... I also purchased a helmet and got a tire pump that has a gage. I find it's best to keep the tires filled to the maximum when riding. The tires loose air after riding. I check the air each time I go out for a ride. I also got an inexpensive basket and got some ties and added this to the handle bar. Great to have. I also purchased a bell. There are some really cute bells available, especially at the smaller bike stores. All and all, I obviously recommend this bike.

They assembled for free. I went to pick it up and before I could get out of the store, 5 people stopped me to tell me what a beautiful bike it was. I attached a child's seat and ride my grandchild around on it. He loves it and so do I. Very comfortable! If you want a straight old time bike, this is the one.
