26'' Men's Schwinn Point Beach Cruiser Bike

Bought a set of matching bikes for my wife and I. Had them delivered home in a box. Assembly pretty quick. Back wheel required re-centering before the rear brake could be adjusted properly. Both bikes has a paint scratch on the nice paint job in the same frame location below and behind the seat. Poor packaging at factory caused that. The package carrier in rear is flimsy and for looks only. Otherwise, for $164.95 a fine value. Rides nice. Looks great.

I ride a bike to work 3-4 days a week and the rest of the week for arrands, 2-3 miles each way. I was looking for a comfortable easy to ride bike for daily use. Ordered and shipped to windward Oahu a week faster than quoted. Arrived partially assembled and in good condition, outer box was a little damaged but nothing on inner box or the bike was broken. Lacked instructions for mounting front fender, wheel, seat and handle bars( the remaining assembly ), but it was easy enough to figure out. As far as the bike goes, ride is excellent even off the beaten path, geared pretty well, can climb a decent hill and still keep up with residential traffic in the higher end. The bike seems well constructed and durable, but the paint is thin and prone to chipping. Though, figuring it was half the price of what the local bike shop wanted ($500 +) for a similar aluminum, multi-speed cruiser bike with front and rear brakes. I don't mind the fact I might need to paint it in a year or 2. Overall, I'd reccomend it for anyone looking for an affordable cruising bike.

If you are looking for a nice ride for fun and enjoyment, this is it. It's lite weight frame and wheels make for easy loading/ unloading. Walmart even assembled it for free, that was nice. I just ask and the next day it was ready.

I have had several bicycles in my time, but THIS bike is truly my favorite. Now 50 years old, it fits my every need. Big Fat comfy seat, 7 speeds and cruiser type handle bars. I even had a young boy tell me "my bike is sick", which today means, "Really cool". Thank you Schwinn for never changing your standards of excellence and to Walmart for choosing this manufacturers bikes to offer to your customers this Christmas.
