Huffy Nel Lusso 26\" Women's Cruiser Bike

This was a Christmas gift and I thought it would be easier to have the bike delivered rather than going to the store during the holidays. The bike arrived, needing assembly, as expected. What I did not expect is that there would be no instruction manual included. I did not expect the assembly to be a big deal since it appeared it would just be the front wheel, seat, handle bars, pedals, and basket to attach. Unfortunately, there were a few minor pieces that took forever to figure out where they attached. Perhaps someone a little more handy would have done better? We did find online instructions at Huffy.com but those were no help. I do not recommend have the biked shipped. It had several dings in the paint from the shipping, I assume. Nothing major, however when giving a gift I want it to be perfect. The receiver of the gift LOVES the bike! It is a comfortable ride and the retro look is appealing.

I wanted a bike without gears for the exercise, yet I also wanted something with a wide comfortable seat. What I received was more than I expected for the price. It is comfortable and rides like it has shock absorbers on it. My only problem was it was hard to place front and rear lights on it because of the location of the basket and the rack in the back. We figured it out and whala.I also purchased the same bike for my husband. We call them our cadillacs. They are wonderful bikes, I am more than happy. Well actually we both are very happy with our new purchases.

Bought both the mens & womens bikes. They were delivered to the house-assembly was fairly uncomplicated. BE SURE NOT TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON TIRES WHEN INFLATING...50LBS PSI IS TOTALLY RIDICULOUS-BOTH BIKE TIRES blew-good thing we had already gotten off the bikes-tires should only be inflated up to a max. of 35lbs-Walmart did replace the tire tubes with no questions asked-and even assembled them. Otherwise we love 'em-comfy ride.

Nice options with the cup/can holder as well as the small basket for taking a few necessities for the ride. Purchased the women's and men's. We take them camping and use them to get around the campgrounds or short errands rather than wasting gas.

First, I didn't give it 5 stars as I've not been able to ride it yet. But if it rides as well as it looks it definitely gets 5!!!! As a Costume Designer it is a fabulous take on vintage. All I keep saying is, "gorgeous, stunning, beautiful added details and great color combo". It is very sturdy looking...no flimsy, thin metal on back rack or fenders. The seat actually has has STITCHED diamond shapes along w/ EMBROIDERED Huffy on back of seat. Makes for a much higher quality look than the typical print/paint that wears or peels off. It is a beautiful burgundy-brown with yellow-tan accents....even the tires. Not shown in picture are beautiful arched, painted accents on the fenders. Even the cup holder is nice. Now I just need to add some gingham fabric to line the basket. Which, by the way, is not much smaller than the plastic, white, flowered basket on my 1973 girl's bike. I'm off to ride along the bay to the park! (If it doesn't perform well on riding, I will add a post).
