Huffy 26 In. Nel Lusso Men's Single-Speed Comfort Cruiser Bike, Sage

After reading a ton of reviews, mostly positive but some negatives, I ordered the sage colored Nel Lusso 26" Men's Cruiser from Walmart.com. It took only a few days to have it delivered by FedEx to my home in Florida. I was honestly expecting there to be some damage such as marred paint, dented fenders or missing parts. My bike came with all the parts and there was no damage! Well, there was one slightly bent spoke but I straightened it with my fingers no problem. Assembled the bike in my garage in a couple of hours. Fitted the handlebars and seat to my liking, flexed the rear fender a bit to center evenly over the tire and I was all set to take it for a spin. I'm in my late 60's and I haven't ridden a bike in over 20 years but like they say, once you learn you've got it. The breeze blowing past me felt great in the early evening, pedaling slowly and gently like a good cruiser was designed for. Really smooth pedaling and comfy ride. Pretty good seat, good springs and cushion for my boney rear end, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to replace it with a much wider and cushier seat that hopefully I'll find at a local bike shop. Honestly, I checked every aspect of this bike when I removed it from the shipping box, and I really did not see any flaws except for that one bent spoke. There is slight wavering with both wheels as they rotate but not noticeable when riding. I think that could be dealt with by adjusting tension on a few spokes. There are internet videos that show how to correctly do this yourself if you want to, or any bike shop will do it for you for a small fee. The coaster brake: as many reviews noted the brake on this and other Huffy bikes are, shall we say, weak. It will stop the bike but don't expect the brake to lock up like our old bikes did way back when we tried to see who could leave the longest skidmark. Give yourself a little distance when braking and you'll roll do a safe stop. I suggest taking the bike to a local bike shop to have a different brake installed in the rear hub, or just have them install a new wheel with a more efficient brake mechanism already in it. That may run $35-$40, not sure. Even after replacing the brake and maybe the seat, I will have a really nice, comfortable and safe bicycle - and it's a really good looking bike too. Proud to own it! The bike looks very good. The Walmart person who assembled it did a great job. I took it for ride around the block, it rode very good but going up hill was a little rough, then to I haven't be on a bike for about 10 years that might have been it. I think its a good bike, looks great, solid built ,it handles very good, peddling is smooth and brakes work great.

I assembled bike and it does not come with any tools. However, the bike was mostly assembled. The directions were inconsistent and sparse. When the bike was assembled, it looked beautiful. It operates smoothly and the tires are wide. overall this is a really goid value.

Although it's a man's bike I purchased it for myself cause I just loved it. It's perfect but the seat squeaks as you bounce up and down but nothing that some good oil can't fix. It's great. Love my basket and it's an extremely comfy seat compared to my hubby's cruiser. No complaints thus far.

This was a gift for our son who is an adult. This is a similation of the old bicycles from the past. He has had several people who asked where he got this and he said Walmart. They said that is a beautiful bicycle and one they use to have in older days. The design is unique and the comfort is great. It has the large tires and comfortable to ride. It has tubes in the tires which would be less expensive to replace instead of a new tire if ever anything went wrong. The basket is a little small but a larger one could be put on it. The back rack is ideal to tie anything on as well. It has only the foot brake which he didn't want the handle brake anyway. Overall this was a great choice and the price was great.
