26" Huffy Panama Jack Men's Cruiser Bike, Root Beer

a couple of months ago I watched as the bike builders at my wal-mart rolled these Panama Jack Huffy bikes onto the sales floor and I thought man, what a great looking bike, it reminds me of the bike I rode as a kid back in the 80s and early 90s. The colors are beautiful and I love the white wall signature tires. The full fenders are great at keeping mud dirt and sand off my back. the rear luggage rack is a super feature, it extends out to about two feet long so you can haul large objects. I have used the luggage rack many times myself. The spring suspended seat is something I enjoy alot. it is quite comfortable and its really good looking. now on to the front, I love the cup holder, and the cooler bag on the front is awesome, I use the cooler bag alot, and not always for storing food or drinks, its a great place to carry basically anything that you can fit in there. The main feature that I like more about this bike than my old bike which it reminds me of is that the tires are sooo much wider and they have a motorcycle type of tread pattern and the fact that they arent black, the rubber is actually brown. cool touch huffy. This bike was designed really well. The pinstriping is really cool. and I like how it has that panel in the frame which reads panama jack, it kind of makes the bike look like it has a gas tank from far away, and from close up it makes the bike look so much better by having that panel there instead of nothing inside of that part of the frame. One feature that I have never in my life seen on any bicycle ever is the bottle opener that my panama jack has on the front fork. what a great feature, now I can open all my favorite beverages wherever I may be riding. Now on to why I didn't give it a five star rating, while the brown paint job is beautiful I did find some small nooks and crannies that are not painted, like underneath where the seatpost and rear part of the frame meet. However it is covered with primer, and also although the bike cruises real smooth and sweet and it does get up to high speeds, I sometimes think it should be a three speed instead of a single speed. my old schwinn from back in the 80s beats it in that aspect because it was a three speed. One other thing that I didn't like was that my particular bike was that the frame came scratched on two places, but thats not huffys fault, it is because Wal-mart sells bikes fully assembled, so before i bought it only God knows how many walmart customers had actually touched it, Even though it has those minor flaws I absolutely love this bike and it is the greatest looking bike I have ever owned, the paint I fixed with some nail polish, the gear is ok just no low gear. Overall Great bike for riding anywhere just don't go on any hardcore mountain bike trails unless you change the tires

I really didn't set it up my son did but said wasn't bad to put together. He loved it and it has it's own ice chest just incase he wants to use it.

Overall pleased with this product. Kickstand had to be bent in order to keep bike up. Cup holder was squished and stayed egg shaped.

The seat is wider and makes for a very comfortable ride. Ease of peddling. And love the cup holder and basket, great for long rides with the kids. And the basket comes off easily.

This was easy to assemble and it is such a fine looking bike. Like the wide tires, comfy seat, and color of the bike.
