It does just that, freshens your breath. It's a great product and I do recommend to a friend.

Spark review sent me whitening toothpaste, not breath touch-up spray. I received a 4 oz. tube of cavity protection, tartar control, clean mint toothpaste. It definitely has a minty flavor which I like. It smells good, and I feel like it left my mouth clean and refreshed. I typically brush 2 to 3 times a day. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 rating is because there is a medicine after taste that I don't really like.

I received this item for free to do a review for Walmart Spark Reviewer. Taking it out of the package I noticed right away that it is a convenient size for a purse or a pocket. The bottle is made of sturdy plastic and the lid fits tightly. When I received it in the mail, it didn't show any signs of leakage. The spraying mechanism works well. It gives out a mist type spray. I did find that if you hold it too close to your mouth it tends to just go straight to your throat, so you need to hold it out from your mouth an inch or so. It tastes like a mouthwash or mint toothpaste. I used 1 spray but found that it wasn't enough to cover my mouth. 2 or 3 sprays are needed to coat your entire mouth. For about 10 minutes it tasted minty. After 10 minutes the mint taste went away and I had a natural fresh taste in my mouth. It did take the bad taste out of my mouth. I think in an emergency it would be great, but if you have the time, simply brushing your teeth good would work as well. Overall, it seems like a great product. The price runs about 5.97, so I think for the size it is worth it.
