This monitor has a bunch a features, but I don’t really use them. I like that there is a temperature sensor and brightness modes. I have had this monitor for over a year and not had any issues. The picture quality is fine and the range is acceptable. I live in a 2storey house and sometimes take the parent unit out on the back deck with no issues. However, I cannot walk around the backyard as it goes out of range. The sound functions are great and it lights up when baby moves (for the most part) or cries.

The VTech VM352 Video Monitor is a great investment for parents. It offers great features, and a piece of mind by being able to physically see your baby. The video monitor comes with a camera to place in baby's room and a parent unit with an LCD screen. The camera comes with a standard lens, and a wide angle lens attachment. I love the wide angle lens. It allows me to see most of my baby's room with great clarity. It also comes with a wall mount unit to hold and position the camera if you do not have a shelf or table to place the camera on, or simply want to keep it out of reach. There are also options to purchase more camera's and add them in the room for a split screen on the monitor, or to patrol the room by switching between camera's. The LCD screen parent unit has many great features including: clear screen with immediate reactions (does not have delayed movements), the ability to talk to your baby through the unit, and can play soft lullabies to help calm baby. I can control the volume, the brightness of the screen, and I can even turn the LCD screen off/on, but when the camera recognizes baby stirring the screen automatically turns back on. This is a great feature for night time--the brightness of the screen doesn't keep me up all night, but turns on when baby is stirring. The parent can remain plugged into a charger, or has at least a 8+ hour battery life when not being charged. It also has an antenna, but even when on a different floor from baby's room, or outside in the yard I have not had to use the antenna. Overall VTech VM352 Video Monitor is a great option. I liked it best for the wide angle lens, and the clarity of the LCD screen. Thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel, I was sent this video monitor to use in exchange for my honest feedback.

I received this video monitor from the weeSpring Parent Panel and it was the perfect tool to help me get stuff done around my home. I am a stay-at-home mom and my daughter is 13 months old. This monitor has really helped me to get stuff done such as cleaning and even taking showers without having to run back and forth down the hall or keep it completely silent in order to hear when she cries. When I first opened the package, I was excited to see how high-tech the video monitor looked. It was so easy to set up. I plugged the camera and turned on the monitor and it worked. The battery on the monitor screen lasts me for a couple days, used a couple hours each day. The screen was also bigger than the video monitor I used previously. The screen display was big enough that I could place it on my bathroom counter, peek out from the shower and be able to see if my daughter was waking up or not. Although it may not seem like a necessity to some, I appreciated that the video feed on the monitor was in color. The monitor has the capability to connect multiple cameras to the one monitor screen, allowing you to flip through the different camera feeds. I only had one camera. Therefore, I was not able to test this feature, but I thought that this was a great feature for parents with multiple children. I found a couple of the features it had to be a bit unnecessary such as the wide-angle lens and the two-way talk feature. However, that's just from my perspective due to the fact that I mostly use the monitor while my daughter takes a nap. The combination of the wide-angle lens and the lens being able to swivel up and down, made it difficult to really gage where the camera was facing and if I would get a good view on the monitor. I usually had the monitor set up in my office and would turn the camera on in a separate room. When I would go to my office and turn the monitor on, I would only see half of my daughter's face or only her arm. Also, with the two-way talk feature, I would always have to mute the monitor to be sure I wasn't waking my daughter with any sound I was making on my end. I would only see the need for the wide-angle lens if I was monitoring my daughter while she was awake, in order for me to view a whole room or area. I don't quite understand the need for the two-way talk feature. It would only make sense if an adult or older child was on the other end where the camera was, which I think defeats the purpose of the monitor completely. Overall, for the main purpose of visually monitoring your child, it works perfectly and I love the display. I simply wish I could make use of the rest of the features in order to use the video monitor to its fullest capability.

I am blown away by the features his monitor has! I received this monitor as part of the wee spring parent panel. I have used other brands of video monitors and this one is by far the best yet. The functionality is top of the line and it is very user friendly. I was impressed by the wide angle lens as well as the mounting bracket that was included. This monitor will keep any parent at ease while their child is sleeping, my favorite feature was the wide angle lens. The angle combined with the panning feature make it possible to see the whole nursery in a very clear picture. The temperature feature is wonderful too as well as the lullaby's and 2 way talk feature was also very helpful when communicating. From my experience I believe this monitor to be one of the best ones on the market and I highly recommend it!

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. Overall review: the monitor had some nice features but it's basic function - being able to visually monitor my son - was a little lacking. What I liked: - The monitor allows you to choose volume sensitivity. We keep a sound machine on for my son all night, but I'm a light sleeper. With this machine, we were able to put the sensitivity on medium, and the volume on the parent unit at low and were unable to hear the sound machine, but could still hear our son when he woke in the morning. - The wise angle lens is great. From where I wall mounted the camera, we were able to see most of the room, which will be awesome when we put him in a toddler bed and he had free reign of his bedroom. - The camera was easy to install and mount to the wall. And with the wall mount, there are multiple angles that you can adjust between the mount and camera so if you were to rearrange the furniture in the room, you wouldn't have to re-mount the camera. What I didn't like: All the being said, the monitor quality just isn't that great. Additional features aside, the very basic thing I want to be able to do is tell if my son is awake or asleep in his crib. With this monitor, the view on the parent unit is so poor of quality that I can't tell if my son's eyes are open or closed. Our current monitor isn't nearly as high tech (none of the features above are listed) but the actual quality of the picture allows us to see if his eyes are open or shut so we can see how he's doing as he settles himself to sleep. Honestly, the quality is so poor we can barely tell what position our son is lying in. For parents who worry once their kids begin to sleep on their belly, this wouldn't be a terrible camera. With the our old camera we could actually see our child's body rise and fall with each breath but with this one he just looks like a little blur in the camera.
