Scunci Everyday Barrettes with No-Slip Grip, Gentle on All Hair Types, in Tortoise Shell and Black, 2ct

I have purchased six of these and three have broken!

I was excited about the No-Slip Grip® Thin Auto Clasp Barrette. I thought ir would protect my hair from breaking. The shell on the black clip broke while I was wearing it, then the brown one broke too while I was wearing it. I went to the store to buy another pair, but the ones on teh card were broken too. There must be a flaw in the design.

These hair clips are the only ones I can use that don't damage my fine hair. Other hair clips that don't have the no slip plastic (bare metal only) cut into and break my hair. I hope Scunci never stops making these! Give these a try if you have fine hair. I customize mine by decorating them with nail polish. When the colored plastic part breaks I'll pry the broken pieces off and decorate with hot glue, felt, beads, ribbons and pretty much everything else from the craft store. I absolutely love these!!!
