I find it hard on the hands. I have arthritis and I feel it heavy and painful at pressure points. It is very hard if not impossible for me to break down the wand to use other features, ex. vacuum the stairs, reach the ceiling corners . Vacuum part is just fine. It picks up the dirt and easy to clean out.
I was finally forced to replace my 20+ year old Dyson Ball Animal. I chose this rechargeable model and I cannot believe how well it works. The suction, lightweight, maneuverability, are all amazing. I have always been a Dyson fan and this cement s that opinion.
I purchased this a couple of months ago and am very dissatisfied that the battery does not hold a charge more than 20 minutes and even less if using Turbo! The medium setting has very weak suction so I use turbo. Can only vac half my house and then wait for a recharge to finish. This is not what I paid for. I've given it a fair trial and now want to return it.
I've had multiple dysons. This one is the worst vacuum I've ever owned period, my 6 year old dyson works better than this. I have hardwood and an autistic child who likes to throw sand. It doesn't suck it up. And what little it does suck up it falls right back out the bottom and pushes it around.
Vacuum works well, but experienced a minor problem with a part that came off first time using it. Called for help and it was obvious that call center was in India. The guy spoke good English but kept me on the phone with what felt like a million questions. Made it seem like he was going to help me, but then lost my phone connection, I figured I would receive a replacement part since I gave him my information. It's been two weeks and no part. My opinion is all they give you is lip service. I hope my machine has no more problems as I have no trust in them. They didn't stand behind their product.
