When it comes to expanding upon a museum exhibition, a documentary or commercial film, Japanese producers often turn to award-winning composer Shinji Ishihara. An accomplished musician as well as composer, Shinji began his career as a classical pianist/keyboardist. He soon expanded into the jazz realm, forming a trio that furthered his reputation while offering him visibility on the live circuit. Marking his American debut, Aqua Blue is Shinji's 1st release for Domo Records.
