Cra-Z-Art Be Inspired Unisex Body & Lip Whipped Spa Creations, Ages 8 and up

This would make a great birthday or Christmas gift for a preteen girl. The scrubs are fun to mix together and play with different colors of flavors. The lip scrub is very salty, so it’s not super fun to put on your lips, since it’s hard not to get it in your mouth too! The mixing device isn’t very sturdy and wasn’t able to mix all the scrubs before it broke, which was unfortunate. Still, they were easy to mix up and there was plenty of product to make several scrubs and my girls enjoyed it.

It's pretty simple, the creams and stuff are in containers and you can added scents and colors. My 10 year old loved it, but I felt it was packaged poorly. In fact one of the creams were leaking from it's container. My 2 year old got into it and had cream all over the place! If your child is creative and actually uses body cream then this is a great gift idea, but otherwise I think I would prefer going to bath and body works.

This is a waxy grease salty messy nightmare! The whipping jar does not whip. It mealy mixes the colors while distributing it all over the sides of the jar which then needs to be scrapped down. There are no measurements so guessing how much to use to make it fit in the containers is a challenge. We didn’t even attempt the piping bags as I can only imagine how much more of a mess they would have created. This is a disastrous mess. The body butter sinks right in and feels like nothing and the lip base is nice and smooth and shimmery. And ITS NOT SUGAR….ITS SALT!! So don’t lick it. They both smell floral which is weird when you add the fruit flavored colors.

So, this is the Be Inspired Body and Lip Whipped Creations by Cra-Z-Art. It has one body butter base. One lip gloss base, one sugar scrub base, two bottles of color that are pink and blue along with flavor. Four cups with lids, four lip pots with lids, one spatula, three mixing spoons and of course one whip creator which mixes the color and bases. It sort of looks like a small mixer, but it is an old hand mixer. No batteries needed! Just some good old fashion elbow grease. I mean hard work with your hand and turn the blue band around the mixer. It also has customizable labels. You need to have oil to mix sugar scrub. I asked my daughters if they wanted to break into the box and have some fun! They said sure! Okay, I need to tell you that my kids are 18 and 15 years old. But they do like makeup, lotions and potions. Stuff like this. They did have fun making these. It was really easy to put them together. I think and so did my daughters, that you can just mix this with a regular spoon. We all agreed that it did not whip up like the picture which is what they wanted. Both agreed that the body butters were nice to put on and have a shine or glitter in it. I personally liked the sugar scrub. I tried it on my feet, and they made them really nice and smooth. They were a bit rough. All in all, it was fun to use.

CRA-Z-ART Be Inspired body & lip whipped spa creations is alot of fun. The kit includes everything you need to make sugar scrubs for your lips and body, whipped base for lips and body, 2 different colors and various containers and sticker labels. The kit only requires an oil, like canola. The spinner is easy to use. My only issue is the spinner is a little difficult to get completely clean. I also wish the spatula was a little longer too. Overall this is a great gift or just a fun night at home.
