honestly bought these not noticing they were alcohol free and presently surprised at how much I like it! is a fantastic mouthwash for both overall oral health care and freshening up your mouth. Recommended by our dentist. This 4 pack is a great value, too.

I usually use other Crest Pro-Health mouthwashes and have been happy with them. I didn't even know there was a new Tartar Control formula until I received a bzzagent invite to sample it. It was a welcome addition to my brushing routine since tartar is the one thing that still haunts me at each dental cleaning no matter how hard I try. After running through the supply I had the only feedback I can't give yet is how effective it is in keeping tartar at bay because that will only be determined at my next dental check-up. As a regular mouthwash it seems to clean and freshen breath after brushing as well as the other Pro-Health formulas. The only difference being that it has somewhat of a "mediciney" taste and a light burn due to the alcohol in it but to a much lighter degree than other mouthwashes with alcohol such as Listerine. In terms of getting it again, the other Pro-Health formulas clean just as well and taste better so all factors being equal I would stick with them. However, should it prove to really make a difference in tartar build-up then I would add it to my routine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I think that Crest Tartar Protection is a really good product. I have noticed less tartar build up since using this product. I feel like I have fresher breath with a little minty taste< I went to my dentist last week and he asked what have i been using to have sch a good checkup, so i told him it was crest, I definitely would reccommend it to friends and family and i also have it on my shopping list. I've tried mouth washes before and they all promise something: less tarter, protects against cavities, etc. I don't know if any mouth wash really does that, but what I can say about the Crest Pro-Health mouth wash is that it really does keep your breath fresh. And for a long time, too. It tastes great and can be a little intense once you start using it, but after using it for a few days it's not quite so intense. I can't say that it helps with tarter, or protects against cavities. I personally haven't noticed any change in how much tarter I get on my teeth. But, it does make my mouth feel really fresh and clean. Also, long-lasting fresh breath. I like the mouth wash and would probably buy it in the future. In just a week of using Crest Pro-Health Tarter Protection I can tell a difference! I am waking up with less of a gritty feeling on my teeth, I have fresher breath, and I generally feel cleaner! Crest Pro-Health Tarter Protection has a great minty taste that is not over powering. It does give me a slight burning/tingling sensation on my tongue but it does not last the whole swishing minute. It is a bearable burn/tingling just slightly uncomfortable. I love knowing that I am, by simply using Crest Pro-Health Tarter Protection, reducing tarter build up, reducing my chances of getting a cavity, having fresher breath, and helping to prevent surface stains on my teeth!
