Dorel - Monaco Bentwood Rocking Chair, Espresso and Beige

I should have listened to the 1 star reviews.. We chose this chair because we live overseas and had a hard time finding anywhere that would ship a glider. This seemed like an inexpensive and pretty well rated chair that would work for our time here. My husband assembled the chair, sat in it for ten seconds, and then the back panels of wood split and the chair collapsed backwards. Husband weighs 180.. and we were glad it was not me who sat first. It is cheap and poorly made because it seems that the screws already in place inside the backside wood supports are where the splits started. For 75 bucks it was not worth returning to the states for a refund process considering shipping costs. Instead of paying the chair's equivalent in total shipping costs to return or just tossing out the chair, since the rocking portion on the bottom is intact, my husband took a ton of duct tape to the wood and actually repaired it enough to sit in. It doesn't look too bad and feels sturdy enough, but what mom wants a duct tape chair. So, in my experience, not worth the money. If you feel lucky and think you won't get one that will literally collapse with it's first use or don't mind a ghetto, duct-taped rocking chair for your nursery, this might be the chair for you!

Great rocker. Easy to assemble. Only cons were that the wood was split in a few spots and it leans back pretty far so you need long legs to reach the floor and rock the chair. I chose to use some wood glue and mend it myself instead of hassling with returning it. Otherwise great product for the money.

We are expecting our first baby any day now and I am so happy with the way the nursery turned out! By far my favorite part is the bentwood rocking chair that we got from Walmart! It was SO easy to put together and it is the most comfortable rocking chair I have ever sat in. I am quite short (5 foot nothing) but my husband is almost 6 feet tall. This chair is equally comfortable for both of us (although I do recommend getting some kind of ottoman or footstool). My husband loves the chair so much that he actually recommended it to a friend. She bought it (after purchasing many very expensive and very uncomfortable rocking chairs) and absolutely loves it. For the money, you can NOT beat this rocker! It would be the perfect addition to any nursery!

We ordered this Rocking Chair online & it was delivered to our home within 3 days. The order tracking system was great because we're always out and about and it was convenient to know what day it would be arriving. The chair itself was much bigger than expected (a huge plus) and the fabric is nice and soft along with the padding, which was very comfortable. It took my husband about 45 minutes to put it together. There was a little knick in the paint, but we just sanded it down and we're not worried about a little chipped paint. Over all a great product for the price and for the craftsmanship.
