Johnson's Baby Gentle Shampoo With Calming Lavender, 15 Fl. Oz.

I've loved this product since I first stumbled upon it 3 or so years ago. For a family on a budget we typically don't buy brand name unless it's truly got something the off brands don't that we really like. For me it was the scent. I absolutely loved it. No, it was never lavender smelling to me but it smelled so GOOD. I loved to bury my nose in my kids hair after a bath and just take it in. I probably had about 4 bottles of it in my cart last I bought it so it lasted me awhile on my two little ones. Well. My son dumped out the last bottle in the bath and I went out to buy more. Highly disappointed when I opened it to find the scent changed. Why on earth would you change a great product?? Why would I pay twice the price for this horrible scent that smells even less like lavender than did the previous? Very unhappy with my purchase and I won't be buying again unless the scent is changed back to the previous.

We used to use this before the "improved formula" came out and we loved the smell. It had a very calming lavender scent to it. Now, with the "Improved Formula" it simply smells like chemicals. While it generally rinses out a little better than before, it down right stinks. I wish Johnson's hadn't gone and messed with a good thing.

The new smell is awful!! Caused an asthmatic/allergic reaction and my child coughed for hours after using it!! Horrible for an "improved" product! We used the former formula since our child was a baby...we will NOT be buying it again.

I love this product and the way it smells but lately when I wash my sons hair, I've notice that he coughs all night long. I'm going to have to find a product that agrees with him. The coughing occurs only the nights that his hair is washed.
