I bought my first one, when they first came out. I used it on a bathroom remodel, where it was necessary to remove the old steel water pipes that rested on the ceiling below. This tool was an absolute wonder in being able to cut the pipes without damaging the ceiling below. The house was over a hundred years old, most homes of that age have their own way of making things harder than they should be. Next was cutting and coping into the walls to accommodate the vents and drain lines. All the processes worked wonderfully. I next used it to cut out holes in the bathroom cabinets to accommodate electrical boxes for internal plug-in fixtures. After that first project, I realized, it would be nice if there were a variable speed model and possibly an easier way to put the blades on. I should say I was hooked on the tool and used it on many projects. And then they came out with the new F50 model, which just happened to have the two features I had wished for. These two features were a hyper jump in being able to use the tool. The variable speed gives you the ability to make an extremely accurate start and give you a very professional looking finished square hole. The quick change blade design, finished this deluxe tool. For those who just need it for an occasional use, the F30 will do a fine job and those who are in the trade this is one of those tools, that will give you the finesse you need to, class out the job.

I bought the f50 sonicrafter a couple weeks ago, I am so impressed with it. I don't know why I didn't buy this product ten years ago. Excellent balance,fits in your hand like a glove. Very very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend this product.

I had tried to find the plunge type cutter that could do multiple jobs. This has a mount that can use all kinds of blades and sanding pads. I used it to cut a square hole in a old growth fir branch. The blade did get hot but no sign of bogging down. I am hoping the cutting under the door frame is as easy.

I love my Rockwell Sonicrafter. I used it over the past weekend installing cabinets in my garage. This is the best tool I have ever used. I am a woman and this tool was very easy to set up and use. This tool made it quicker to get my cabinets hung on the wall

I bought this as a gift for my Husband for Christmas. He is "retired" but works harder now than ever. He takes pride in every tool he buys and uses, I was nervous about this purchase because I didnt know if it would be the tool that would stand up to his quality of professionalism he looks for..... Well this has been a A+ tool for him for sure! he loves it and uses it for so many things. This one tool has replaced several tools....So know he goes out for work, instead of 5 tools....he now carries 1! Awesome tool!
