3M Scotch Duct Tape, Transparent

I have used this tape for several years both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors I used it to tape down vinyl on the outside patio to keep out the cold. It stayed on throughout the winter and worked just as well outdoors during hot Texas summers. I'm super disappointed it's been discontinued. BEST TAPE EVER!!!!

I found this duct tape extremly useful for my needs installing my new dishwasher. The odd angles of my old cupboard & caste iron sink made it impossible getting it backed into the cupboard due to a tight fit & multiple bends without this tape. The tape sticks great when you want it too. And it's transparent with fibers running through for strength. I could see what's underneath the tape - a much needed way to check on the condition of my water & drain lines in a few weeks/months.

It's not transparent but that should be obvious with the clear packaging. Good quality repair tape. Tears easily for ease of handling. Whether it's a durable, long-term repair, I cannot comment. But in the short term, it's pretty good. Maybe it should be described as translucent rather than transparent?

This tape is NOT transparent. It is white. Why is it called transparent?
