Works well. Used to install rain shower head above shower, no leaks.

This plastic hose will out perform the more expensive metal hoses if care is taken not to allow kinking in the hose at the base of the hand held spray head. I applied a wrap of duck tape on the hose immediately below the shower head for added stiffness. This adds extra strength to the plastic and helps prevent coil separation due to fatigue. I also used Teflon tape for all connections. The cheaper and thinner the tape the more wraps (as many as 10 or 12) I apply for a leak proof system. The only drawbacks are this hose is only 5' long compared to 6' for most and this hose does not swivel. Most brands of metal shower hoses have a built in swivel however they tend to come apart and leak at this location with constant kinking.

This shower head has a positive shut off which will save a lot of water on my boat. It has a quality feel and finish with 6 different spray patterns. You'll need to buy a new hose washer as this item doesn't come with one. Look at Ace hardware for that.

I have a cramped shower in my camper trailer and this is the best shower head I've ever owned. It shuts of the water with little effort and has great spray patterns. I now have plenty of hot water and I mean hot water at the end of my shower. Really gets the job done. The design of this unit is compact and gives you plenty of spray. It fits your hand just right and the spray head if very flat and easy to handle. Can't say enough about this item.

Plastic is not the best. Very cheap. Had to be careful putting in screws so it didn't crack it. Kind of flimsy.
