Bumkins Toddler Fork and Spoon Set, Stainless Steel & Silicone for 18 Mos+ (Pineapple)

I really love the shape of the spoon. It has a nice cupping to it. However, I do not like the shape of the fork. It is cupped like a spoon, with tines of a fork. I think this is a little more difficult for children to clear the fork with their lips while eating chunkier pieces of food. I would prefer to see a more flat fork. I love that these are dishwasher safe - just throw them in the dishwasher when you are done!

These are really great to have! They are made with soft chewable silicone and designed to be easy to grab for babies. They keep our little one entertained while also teaching how to use utensils. And the choke guard makes them safe for little ones to use and puts my paranoid mommy mind at ease. We love these!

The baby fork and spoon are perfect for my curious little one. He likes to feel like his big sister with utensils and these help him learn without checking on the entire spoon (because of that wide rim). Since he is teething, his favorite feature is that they are easy to chew on!

I was and still am very satisfied with these pieces of silverware. First, according to the page the "silicone does not contain any petroleum-based plastics or toxic chemicals like those found in plastics," and, "lead-free," so I know my grandchild is safe. Second, it's bacteria resistant. Finally, it's easy to wash. I just plop it in the dishwasher and boom! I'm done. I was satisfied with this product.

I'm trying to encourage my daughter to use these while eating. She is nine months and she likes the little fork a lot tries to pick up stuff. Unfortunately she can't seem to figure out the spoon and keeps turning it upside down dipping the ball part into her food and licking it and the fork doesn't really pick anything up other than spaghetti.
