I stumbled across this Friendship Bracelet Maker while I was Christmas shopping on Walmart's website. I've been making friendship bracelets and hemp jewelry for years and when I saw this item I just had to have it. I bought it because it looked like it would make it easier to keep the strings organized while making jewelry. I've already used it to make a few bracelets and I really like it. The only thing I don't like is the thread that comes with it, the quality is terrible. It's fuzzy, it's really thin, and the pre-cut threads are too short for some of the patterns I like to use. The thread guides don't keep the thread it came with pulled tight because the thread is so thin. But I purchased better quality thread separately and the thread guides worked perfectly with the better thread. And halfway through a bracelet I was making I had to add thread extensions because the pre-cut threads were too short. It would be better if they included 1 long thread of each color rather than 10 seperate pre-cut strands so you could just measure what you need and cut it yourself. But like I said I really like the item itself, I just don't like the thread. If I could go back I'd buy the Friendship Bracelet Maker that costs less and doesn't come with the thread and I'd use the money I saved to buy better quality thread separately.
