I have hair do about my waist so I take volumizing products with a grain of salt since I know my hair is heavy and can't rely on a product to work miracles. However I saw zero volume with this product not even at the ends where there is no weight. It foams nicely and rinses our easily. I wish it was sulfate free that would earn it more stars since it is a nice drugstore haircare item. Thankful I bought the travel size so I'm not wasting a whole bottle. Will be using on my daughters hair till it's gone. If you have shorter hair I think you would have better luck. If you have hair past your shoulders maybe look elsewhere.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when I saw that I received ApotheCARE shampoo to sample! The shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. The scent of Rosehip was very noticeable, and my hair smelled wonderful after using the product. My hair is long and in desperate need for boosters, especially in the shine and moisturizing departments. The shampoo did not disappoint. My hair was noticeably shinier and silky smooth after the first use. It even withstood heat from my hair dryer and straightener too. I received compliments about my hair and so of course, I told my friends and co-workers which products I was testing. I would rate this shampoo 5/5 stars, and I definitely want to continue using it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of ApotheCARE Essentials the Booster Shampoo with Rosehip oil, Geranium and Aloe Vera in return for my unbiased review of the product. It came in a lovely bottle with easy pump dispenser, which I love. It smelled ok but a bit more medicinal than the conditioner which smells amazing. I have shoulder length, naturally curly hair so I started with 6 pumps. It is very concentrated so I added water to work into a lather. I noticed my hair felt more voluminous instantly but it also felt dry and sticky, I was very worried but the conditioner saved the day. There is not enough moisturizers in this product for daily use on my hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review, so that's what I'm going to give. Unfortunately, this just wasn't a good fit for me personally or my hair. I'm very allergic to floral scents. I decided to try it out anyway, hoping that the scent would be subtle but it wasn't and my allergies hated me for that choice. I also found out the hard way that this is not good for colored hair as it stripped a lot of color out of mine and made it look dull. I didn't get more volume or hair that felt softer and healthier from using it. Instead I got a major case of frizz and hair that felt very dry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received ApotheCARE Essentials Shampoo with Rosehip oil, Geranium and Aloe Vera, complimentary for testing, and I am SO glad that I did! First, let me say that I do 10+ mile runs every weekend, and my hair gets VERY gross and sweaty. I can't begin to express how amazing this shampoo smells!! I looked forward to getting home to wash my hair after each run, because the scent was like an aromatherapy treatment session. The shampoo left my hair feeling clean and nourished, and was incredibly relaxing. I continue to enjoy my ApotheCARE shampoo very much, and will purchase more when I run out.
