[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a birthday present for my friend's 2.5 yo and we had a lot of fun with it. The guided play helped us discuss shapes, colors, nouns and even math. This is a simple concept, yet it was executed well with the images on the cards. Thank you for a great product.
I have a preschool child and this product helps me engage in more play with learning shapes and letters. I love the foam experience, it is a lot of fun for the kids.
My kids love to play this. It is a fun game to begin with. My kids enjoyed it. The good thing about it is they learned while playing.
We love this, it's not too messy but it seems like it might be to the kids which makes them love it. I love anything educational that they don't get bored of!
I have gotten kits with this type of foam play material before. While it has some pluses, it has a huge disadvantage to those with picky children. The main issues our family has with it, is that the colors obviously can mix, and when they do, you get dots of another color in the primary color. Which is very easy to pick out and fix, but it also happened very easily. In the case of my daughter, she hates it, and won't let her brother play until she sorts all the colors out. The cards are also a little hard to tell exactly what you're making, especially for a non-reader. I would have much preferred it if the number was a much larger font. I have also noticed that if you leave the play foam on the cards too long, it leaves a greasy residue. I like the foam, and I think it would probably be a great tool for an only child, but it's not the most helpful for my 3-year old to use when I'm working with my 6 year old, as he doesn't have the right level of independence. When we get tired of keeping all the colors separated, I'll gladly stick all the colors in a bag for travel. The foam doesn't really dry out, so it works well on tray tables or lap desks
