I bought this product because I pulled my back. I have a lot of hair on my body - chest, back, legs, etc. Because of this I can't get the patch to actually lie against my skin. I tried several times, but I had the same problem each time and can't say it actually helped. Nothing on the box warns that this may be a problem but it was.

Although I do prefer just a warming patch for back pain, I do like this one from icy hot. It covers my whole lower back when I'm in pain. It stays on for a long period of time, which is a plus. I always keep this close by as my back pain comes and goes.
