My wife has asked me to assemble at least 8-10 similar projects over the years. I've always had negative reactions to cryptic instructions with amateurish diagrams and shoddy materials. This is the first assembly project she's purchased from China that had all parts clearly labeled, accurate diagrams, and straight-forward clear instructions. All the pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly, but there were a few that were not pre-drilled because they needed to be lined up by eye after the other parts were assembled.From past experience, I know that these types of screw-together assemblies will tend to loosen up a bit, so I decided to add some glue where appropriate. I do feel that the top shelf should be wider, but it was exactly as pictured on the ordering page, so no complaint there.

No problems quickly assembling this potting table, for me I am using it to hold my small table top grill and pond & gardening equipment in the cabinet. My only desire is that it would have a shelf in the cabinet side, but I'll figure out how to add one.

I use this for storage near the grill and for seat cushions and as a buffet for serving. I put it together alone with no problems and put 2 coats of clear protection on it and plan to add wheels on the legs. It is fairly lightweight but looks nice. The only advice I would give is - lay out all of the pieces before you screw it together. As others mentioned, the instructions have pictures but you can easily get turned around. Each piece must go in a specific place and direction to work.

As others have reported, while many of the pieces have pilot holes for the screws, often the part where that piece will be screwed into does NOT have a pilot hole. Without a pilot hole for the screw, the wood can split, especially when screws are going into the ends or edges of the wood slats. Therefore, I think it is essential that the assembler have access to a power drill to drill the necessary pilot holes. That being said, all of the parts were nicely labeled, including screws and bolts in their own separately labeled packages so finding the right screw for each assembly step was easy. While I was able to assemble the product by myself in about 1 1/2 hrs, having an assistant would have saved some time. The power drill also functioned as a power screwdriver. If using a manual screwdriver, add another 20 minutes for assembly time. As others have noted, the hinges and hasp are not the highest quality, but we will see how they wear. I got this for my wife for Mother's Day and she was very pleased with the finished assembled product.

I wanted something to use when I am grilling to keep all of my utensils and charcoal and also have a surface to place a large cutting board. This is perfect. I haven't had it long enough to tell how it will hold up but I plan on putting a clear coat on it to last longer. It looks very nice. The instructions that came with it for assembly though were not super clear.
