My wife bought this tiller for her garden. Has a lot of power and battery lasts long enough to do about a 10 foot x 20 foot garden. Fast charging system too. She does have one complaint. She is 5' 1" and ask me to shorten the tiller handle. I told her it's at the shortest setting. Handle is too long even for me and I'm 5' 8".
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cultivator works great. I used it to make a nice single garden row in some pretty tough soil and it really did a good job. Love that it runs on batteries and not gas.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprise at how well this cut through roots and grass i was able to till a 50+ square foot area in about an hour
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad is 89 and loves using this in his garden. It was a Father's Day gift and he said his favorite things about it is how easy it was to put together (from a man who doesn't read the ‘destructions'), so light for him and he can easily take the outer blades off/on to get around plants that are closer together. He can't walk well and always needs a cane in one hand so he uses this with one hand and cane in the other. He loves it so much that he even washes it off after each use and wishes he had it years ago. My mom says he's like a kid in a candy shop when he's getting ready to go ‘weed' the garden. She also said he has to tell everyone about it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin, the cultivator was simple to assemble, though it came with an excess of packaging. The tines could have been labeled better. I had a 2.0 Ah battery to use with it, and with the battery installed it was still light enough to carry easily. When it comes to use, the tool does no better than you'd expect at the price; it struggled to break two inches of soil, and left a strip two inches wide between tines that required a second pass. To break up my 600 square foot garden, I needed 2.75 battery charges, and it took approximately 1.5 hours. After the first pass, I could do a second pass on a single charge. The tool is relatively easy to clean, and it doesn't "buck" when hitting hard patches like other tillers I've used. The main thing I'd appreciate is more power. It compares well to similar-price corded units though, and the battery convenience gives it an edge.
