you get what you pay for: small enough to do simple garden job, not too heavy to handle, easy assembly, came with battery %26 charger.
1st time using tiller on fully charged battery it would not work! Calling company to get a replacement sent.
It seems to work just fine. Only time will tell how long it will hold up. So far I'm very pleased with it.
I got this tiller in April I only used once now the battery will not charge so it is worthless. I been trying to get another battery but no luck. I will never buy online from wal mart again.
This is a very valuable tool for me. I'm a stronger lady and enjoy gardening, though hand digging over my garden is difficult for me, I do so enjoy fresh veggies from the garden. This tiller is small enough for me to handle and one battery charge is able to work an area that is three times the amount I could hand dig over in a day. It doesn't dig down as deep as a large tiller, or hand spading would, but if your patient, you can dig deeper with more passes. It cut down months of work to weeks, which is very valuable when getting your garden going. You can look up the exact name of this tiller and see how it works up the ground, on YouTube. I used the tiller on an established garden area, getting it ready for spring planting. I do have a rocky bit of garden and had a few rocks get caught from time to time, but pulled the batteries out for safety and then was able to get the rocks unstuck (while wearing gloves). I didn't see any damage to the blades. Interestingly, the safety switch is set up so that you can use your right or left hand. One YouTuber explained that the tiller wants to go forward, so pulling back with it does well. I found that this was the best method. The smaller width also allowed me to go back and tidy up between rows, after the plants were established, like you would with a hoe. This tiller was definitely worth the investment for me.
