This is a very nice looking deck box. It was easy to assemble and even included a few extra pieces of hardware (in the event you lose a washer or screw). The assisted opening feature is great. I've had the box just over a week so I can't comment on durability yet.

Find something with a warranty longer than 90 days. This thing lasted just over a year before the legs started getting wobbly, and then at less than 2 years it was just disintegrating. When I say that I had to sweep and pressure wash the lanai from where it sat just to try to get rid of the rusty residue, I'm not kidding. The ENTIRE BOX collapsed onto the lanai as all the legs finally detached, and then the bottom and the support frames all rusted and fell away as well. This was outdoors in the Florida sun and it couldn't do its job at all. Find a more rugged and better-built deck box.

This piece didn't have a lot of reviews, so I was a bit skeptical because of the sale price. It arrived in great condition (packaging was in good shape) and it was protected well for transport. Someone mentioned it too 2 hours to put together. I had a friend to help, so literally took me 20 minutes. The most labor-intensive thing is screwing in the bolts... which take a hex wrench. Appreciate the company supplying 2 wrenches.. made assembly SO much easier. The quality is amazing and it is much bigger than I envisioned. (in a good way) Matches my other wicker style furniture (even though they are different brands). Very sturdy. Hasn't been tested in the elements yet..... it is going to rain this weekend, so i will be able to test the protection part. Great piece all around, highly recommended for price.

End product is nice, except there is no base for the floor (just slats and wicker), so we had to make our own floor for support. The biggest reason for a 2 rating is that it was a nightmare putting together. Cheaply done - had to pull staples out of the threads to put bolts in, couldn't complete one of the lid supports because a nut was partially welded over.

Form over function. Thin aluminum frame (painted mahogany brown) wrapped by ribbon thin wicker resin strips. This product is for light duty use ONLY! Pillow storage and the like. Beautiful finish color/tone, just very delicate construction. I was hoping it would be built using round stranded resin, similar to load bearing furniture. No such luck.
