Tetra Submersible Heater 30-60 for Aquariums up to 60 gallons

I bought my 2nd 30-60 heater thinking my first had quit working in my 37 gallon tank because it was holding at room temperature for the last week. I took the old one out and it was hot and water temp was up to 75 degrees! I put the new one in and now (3hours later) back to room temperature 70 degrees. They are supposed to be preset to 78 degrees. Do not makeep the same mistake I did twice, this heater sick big time!

Extremely poor craftsmanship on Tetra's end, the thermostat on this heater is loose and has no end stop allowing you to turn it too far right and breaking the connections.

Horrible product for what size tank it says it treats. Says it's for a 30-60 gallon aquarium but this product won't KEEP the temp of my 35 gallon at anything above 70! Temp will reach a max of 74 but then drop all the way down to 68! Would not recommend to anyone with tank bigger than 20 gallons. Definately getting a new heater

i've had this heater for awhile now been keeping it at 75 but not that i have goldfish i keep it at 72 and it is a pain to keep it at that temp. when the room temp. changes you have to turn the knob on the heater to correct the temp. other than that if you want the temp. at 75 it will stay around that no matter what.
