These tires are labeled 7x16, but measure 5" wide not 7". The manufacture claims they will inflate to the proper size. The old tires I am replacing are 7x16 also, but measure 7" wide uninflated. So, what you are seeing is the tire manufactures are cutting corners like everywhere else, selling smaller tires, but claiming otherwise.

These are the best tires my husband likes for his little backhoe. He used to use his little tractor along due health not as much but he likes to get it out just to see if he can operate it. But he was always liked this particular tire because it would last and also the life of the tread on the tire. Very pleased
