Mattoon Walmart carry a lot more variety of food than any other Walmart within a 100 mile radius, I moved to Illinois from California two years ago, and I haven't been able to buy Real Italian salami , or sourdough round loafs or French loaves and or Bruno`s peppers just to list a few, always the Mattoon center does carry a few of my absolute must have house staples...
This is around the 4th time I have received mushy raspberries. The berries are to the point that they will disintegrate as I try to pick them up or wash them. The berries I was able to salvage this time tasted like they had been infused with mothballs and I immediately spit them into the sink. Unfortunately these are not edible and I will no longer be buying raspberries from Walmart.
I love raspberries and have recently stopped buying them from Walmart. The last seven cartons I bought from Walmart had WORMS. So many disgusting LIVE green and yellow worms that I threw the entire 12 oz carton out. It's very disappointing as raspberries are extremely expensive and I can't even enjoy them.
The past few times I've shopped at Walmart for groceries I have not been very impressed. The raspberries were rotten before that I bought three things of cream cheese that expired in May bought in July by the way and just last week I ordered a pack yogurt that expired exactly a month earlier
I've ordered raspberries delivered twice now. The first time they were perfect! The second time not so much. They were only half red and covered in tiny bits of leaves that were impossible to get completely off. So a success rate of 50% isn't bad I suppose, but I hesitate to order them again.
