Get flavor and nutrition with our Fresh Papaya. Papaya is a tropical fruit that originated in the tropics of the Americas and is known to be a great source of vitamins C, A, fiber, and antioxidants. When ripe, this fruit has a butter-like texture with a fairly sweet flavor similar to cantaloupe and can be eaten raw, without skin or seeds. Papaya can be prepared in a variety of ways; you can mix them with grapefruit and avocado for a bright summer salad, add them to a zesty salsa for some sweetness, freeze them and turn them into refreshing popsicle spears, or bake them in the oven with a melted brown sugar mixture. The sky's the limit! Get ready for a taste-bud party with Fresh Papaya.

Creamy, butter-like flavor when ripe Rich in vitamins A, C, fiber, and antioxidants Fairly sweet flavor like cantaloupe and mango Great addition to smoothies, salads, salsa, and more Delicious and nutritious

Absolutely one of our favorite fruits to eat in the AM. We eat it chopped with honey and granola on top or in a smoothie. FANTASTIC FOR YOUR STOMACH!!!

They send a papaya that was so green it never ripened. It's decomposing before ripening. I've been waiting and it's going bad, and you are not supposed to eat green papayas.

1st week, the papaya was fully fresh, completely ripe, excellent!! 2nd week, that papaya is still sitting in the Sun trying to get ripe. So, I don't know what it tastes like yet....

Sometimes it takes too long to get ripe. And since I usually order online, hope there is an option with remarks to pick the ripe one or the size - usually for single person, it will be good to have a small rather than a big one.

I placed an order for two Papaya. Upon receiving my order, the papayas were dry and not fit to eat. Never received a papaya this size before. I should have known better than to think that this was some deal!
