When I bought my iPod it was black. It went off and wouldn't cut back on. So I took it back to the store and got a new one. When i got my new one I got a blue one and once I got home it was awsome! I already had the short square iPod nano silver and the two weren't that different except for the colors were very vibrant on the newer one. I was a little disapointed because this iPod was basically the same as the older one only the body style was different. If you have never had a iPod i would recomend this to you but if youhave had an iPod and are looking for something different i would not recomend this to you but i would recomend the iPod touch.

I had a Sansa 250 MP3 player for about 2 years. in that time it wiped all of my music twice. after the second time i decided to get an ipod. my friends recommended it and i'm so glad i trusted them. if your going to get a music device i recommend the ipod nano. awesome!!!

Wow cant believe such a small, light item can hold so much. (I kind of wish it was a little bigger.) Works well and has nice features though with no instructions you dont know what they all are until you just play around with it. I have had some syncs rejected over and over again so not sure what thats all about. I have an RCA MP3 player that sync'd with zero problems and was much faster at it. Also another nice feature my RCA has it wouldnt even burn a duplicate song already on the player so that was nice to not take up un-needed space when you lose track of 100's of songs downloaded. Also havent fiqured out how to buy a movie on Itunes. I WISH IT HAD SOME SORT OF CLIP OR LOOP TO MAKE A NECKLACE OR SOMETHING OUT OF IT! Seems like Apple is going to nickel and dime you for anything extra like that. The sound is good and I love looking at all the album art while thumbing through the play wheel. I dont like that you cant delete things right from the Ipod. I find that to be annoying. Says the battery is to last 24 hrs. Ive had full charges and the battery starts to go down just a little after only a few songs so Id be interested to see if that 24 hr play time holds up. Also says the 8gb is to hold 2,000 songs (I know thats an estimate some songs are longer than others.) But I have 896 songs and Im maxed out already. I dont have much interest in having lots of vids or pics on my pod so I wish I could use that waisted space for more music! Ive wondered what the hype was all these yrs. about an IPOD. Well I now have my own...it's a little pricey but a cool fun little machine.

This would be my second iPod. After my last one I tried to go with an MP3 player, but other reviews from Walmart customers were right, if you're used to iPods DO NOT downgrade to MP3 players. I took the MP3 player back and got this gorgeous baby. I love that if you choose not to, you don't have to lift a finger, iTunes does all the work, unlike the iPod Shuffle I once had. The scrolling feature is also easy to learn. The volume runs VERY high if that is important to you, it has a cute little feature where you shake the iPod and it shuffles. I don't use my iPod for movies and games, but for music purposes it exceeds expectations by all means.

What can I say? Great value for the price 8 GB (actually 7.42 GB), really good screen resolution. I love it!! I had bought a 4 GB iPod for my daughter last summer for the same price... I should have waited! I found the earbuds to be a bit uncomfortable but that's an easy fix.
