Bought for someone elderly for weight gain. Not to strong just perfect for an elders digestion. He has gained 5lbs every time he uses it for several weeks. The elderly don't usually eat well n this is a great supplement for someone who doesn't eat much.of course consult a physician before use.
My son is using it and he likes it. He is mixing it with banana or any kind of berries or take it as it is.
This product has a good taste, it devolves easily and I can put in more then I scoop for a thicker more substantial shake.
Help me with my workout. ..
My first try and using protein powder. I eat the Pure Protein bars and they taste pretty good (Choc Chip Cookie ones are the best!) and decided to try them for protein powder. The Vanilla tastes good with milk. I haven't tried it with water. It is a little sweet but not too bad. I would recommend a blender bottle to mix this though. I tried without just in a water bottle and shook it and got clumps. I tried mixing with a spoon and got clumps. I then bought a blender bottle (http://www.walmart.com/ip/BlenderBottle-With-BlenderBall-1ct/17179769) and it worked great. No clumps whatsoever. Also my experience is that 2 scoops is quite a bit and will leave you feeling full for quite awhile (with 2 cups of 1% milk that's about 500 calories). One scoop would be good for a snack. Now I'm looking for recipes to try in my blender bottle!
