Vital Proteins Vital Performance Recover, Lemon Grape, 28.3 oz Powder

I love this product. I got the grape-lime flavor. It smells like a grape tootsie pop but the actual flavor is super light and light on the sweetness. I can drink it during my workout without getting heartburn. I love this product! I have noticed a difference in my recovery. I 100% would recommend it to a friend. It was a game changer for me and my workouts

I bought this five months ago as I was coming back from a stress fracture. I thought- first big injury I needed to clearly do something different so why not incorporate more collagen into my diet. I haven't missed one day of taking this and honestly feel such a safety net having this in my tool box to recover. The protein content, collagen, and hydration all in one is a game changer.

I've been using the Recover product for about a year. I started intermittent fasting and used to use the regular collagen in my coffee in the morning. I wanted a good way to get electrolytes and collagen in my daily routine, so this product works really well. It tastes fine; it doesn't dissolve well in cold water. Otherwise, I really have no complaints. It's been a great product for my lifestyle.

I use this for an afternoon pick me up and post workout. The flavor is what I expect an unsweetened kool-aid would taste like. Watermelon and blueberry with a citric acid finish, it is what it is and that is healthy. I find that using a blender bottle for protein works well with this product. Shake and let rest for a minute and shake again, no clumps and all dissolved ready to drink. I feel the Niacin flush just short of finish drinking it and then start feeling more energized. This is a great alternative recovery to others that have harmful chemicals and additives and will deal with the lack of sweetened flavor for it. I have only tried the Watermelon-blueberry and I have no issues with it and would recommend it to anyone wanting and an alternative to chemical laden recovery's on the market.

I drink this after every workout and it prevents my after workout/next-day soreness. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of the taste, however, if you are familiar with consuming this type of product, I think you always expect the taste to be less than 100% and accept it.
