Warmed up quickly and fun to watch

I bought this lamp because my teenage daughter had one in her room and I found myself in there looking at it. It brought back memories of a less stressful time... But my daughter kicked me out of her room so I decided to get my own lava lamp. It is just dim enough for me to leave on without keeping me up (I like it dark when I sleep). It bathes my room in a warm glow that is soothing.
