Wolverine Hellcat UltraSpring 8" Work Boot Men

Bought originally in October of 2021, had to get a replacement pair in March of 2022. Now it's mid July and they're falling apart the same way they did in March. I would think that when I pay $180 for a pair of boots that they should last longer than three and a half months.

Construction Inspector/Tree Care This boot has been a pretty good fit so far (1 month) and took some time to wear in, but it has proven useful in some light instances (roadwork) and heavier instances (hillside tree removal). Pros: - leather is holding up, but I condition the leather weekly - safety toe seems strong (it caught a pretty large log without much fuss) - fit is roomy, but feels secure for a big guy like me with wide, flat feet - comfortable during a normal work day, but I will probably buy some better quality insoles down the road Cons - I'm not yet confident in the sole to upper weld as my last pair of Wolverines (not this model) failed before anything else and my feet got soaked in some muddy ground - the fit got painful on steep slopes, especially on the ankle - I had to loosen the laces on the front of my ankle and tighten it higher up to distribute the tension better or it was painful to walk on uneven ground as the front of my ankle was catching the my weight - very uncomfortable to drive in, but I rarely wear them driving except on the job site

I just put on a pair of these boots that arrived on time, as promised, and they are so comfortable that I asked my wife if it was ok if I slept in them tonight! Very good quality construction. They're not undersized at all and fit very comfortably. It seems that some manufacturers didn't get the conversions right when they started making shoes and boots overseas..... I've bought numerous boots that were way too tight and tried to adjust to them.....and hurt all day. But these are perfect. I wear an 8 1/2 EW and that's exactly what these boots are.....thank you Wolverine for a quality boot!

I have owned wolverines forthe last couple decades and have always been happy. THAT BEING SAID,THESE ARE HORRID!! I had high hopes as the ones i used to buy are no longer made and i thought these would be a good replacement. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Cheap insert that doesnt do squat,tread is already peeling back and i havent been using them AT WORK!! Honestly im about ready to throw them out

So after my first day today in these boots my feet were dying!!! I had to leave the shoelaces really loose just to get through the rest of my day. I am on my feet all day and these just are not gonna work. I know they need to get worked in but my CAT boots weren't this bad.
