Sunbeam Warming Blankets, Seashell

I bought it as a gift because I have one, and love it. It's great to crawl into a warm bed on a cold night and get a good nights sleep. This is the second one I've purchased (both for my daughters) because I like mine so well. I wouldn't want to give mine up in the winter, never, never.

This was my second one of these blankets. I gave the first to someone who had need of it. And then less than a week later I'm ordering the new one for myself. I can turn off the heater at night and breathe and still not freeze. The cold sets off my Arthritis, the heater stuffs up my airways. This blanket solves the problem. Cool the house down before sleep but jump into a warm bed, life is good...

I spent nearly $70 for this product including shipping, and was expecting a lot more. The fabric was cheap, and for the amount of money I had spent I would have expected quality fabric that was soft to the touch. In fact the blanket material is so thin that you can feel the wires of the heating mechanism, which makes it very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this product to anyone who desires comfort while they sleep.

I have to replace this blanket every year. I keep buying it because it's the only one sold in my town and Walmart has let me exchange it. I would love to know if there's actually a brand that makes the warming blankets to last. One or both sides lose the ability to heat up. When at first I'm warm on 1, after a year, it has to be on high for the same results.

The electric blanket I had for years died on me. My house is heated by gas in a tank outside. It is so expensive so I bought this blanket and it has saved my heat bill so much! I stay warm at night without spending so much money on gas and also my husband can control his side of the bed which he sets on "3" and I can make my side much warmer on "9". It is a win, win situation all the way around for me, I love this product and when this one dies, I will go get another one!
