Sunbeam Electric Blanket, 1 Each

Pros: 1. Feels great, 2. washable, 3. even husband likes it. Cons: 1. Sunbeam Velvet Plush blankets were of much higher quality, but are apparently a thing of the past. 2. Last Sunbeam blanket died after first wash, but I no longer had the receipt. So Sunbeam goes off of the numbers on the controller, and would not honor the five year warranty. So far, this one has survived the first wash. 3. The controllers are unlit and impossible to see in the dark. 4. It needs to be warmer in the foot area.

This blanket is very soft. You can feel the wires in it, but I think that is normal for all electric blankets. It doesn't bother me. The highest setting is quite warm, so much so that my cat will jump off onto the floor and stretch out to cool off after laying on the heated blanket for a short time on this high setting. I got this blanket for my husband who had chills during a recent Covid infection. It really helped him during that time when he couldn't get rid of the chills using regular blankets. I like that the product is washable. And the royal blue color is pretty and vibrant. I recommend this purchase.

Looks nice. However the control is not user friendly. As stated in other reviews, you cannot see the numbers when it's dark. Also, the cords come out of the bottom so when bringing them up from under the mattress, the dial is upside down. I'm debating on whether or not to return. Disappointed with this Sunbeam design. I expected better from them.

It's satisfactory - but I feel I overpaid for what I got. Selection was limited in February when I bought it. It's thin but that means you can feel the wires a little more than I'd like. On the plus side Delivery was superfast and the controls are easier to navigate than previous blankets I've bought.

My current electric blanket went out and was unable to purchase another one so decided on this Sunbeam. I took it out of the box and it went right back in and returned to the store. Only a 3ft cord. Could not reach plug in. The wires inside the blanket were thick and heavy. The blanket was a very soft micromink fabric but just super thin. Could tell the fabric was not going to hold up well. Returned before even trying.
