Sunbeam King Electric Blanket, 1 Each

Exactly as advertised. A little thinner than expected you can really feel the wires in it. It worked really well until my dog decided she needed to remove the wires inside the blanket. So now I just have a nice non-electric blanket, but the color is really pretty. I would purchase this item again in the future.

Super soft and worked really well for the first few months. I've had it about 6 months and it hardly heats up now. I can only get it to about half of its original max heat if I keep it folded while I heat it up then unfold it to use after a bit. Does nothing most of the time.

Pros: 1. Feels great, 2. washable, 3. even husband likes it. Cons: 1. Sunbeam Velvet Plush blankets were of much higher quality, but are apparently a thing of the past. 2. Last Sunbeam blanket died after first wash, but I no longer had the receipt. So Sunbeam goes off of the numbers on the controller, and would not honor the five year warranty. So far, this one has survived the first wash. 3. The controllers are unlit and impossible to see in the dark. 4. It needs to be warmer in the foot area.

I have been buying Sunbeam for a number of years. The quality of these blankets have gone down tremendously. The fabrick is thin and it almost slides off the bed. The controls do not lite up. Other than the on off button. You can not tell what heat setting it's on. I have barely had it on and it was getting too warm for me and I'm cold natured. It would be worth the money to purchase a more expensive one.

I keep mine on practically all the time, my cat LUVS the warmth it provides! As for me, I love it when Im watching tv or going to sleep. Its like a warm hug, comforting and peaceful. And I especially love the 10 hour auto shut off. Many of this items competitors have maybe a 3 hour shut off timer. So, look carefully when shopping, not all of them have the 10 hour shut off. I also love the plush feel to it! So fuzzy and soft!
