I bought this product out of desperation. I had a terrible flea infestation in the house, garage and the yard. With in 24 hours of applying this product almost all of the fleas were gone. They did keep picking up a few fleas everytime I let them out. They were sort of acting like mine sweepers picking up new fleas from the yard but even those fleas died in short order. We have had several days of rain here in Florida so as soon as the ground dries up I will be treating the lawn and the garage to complete the cycle to eliminate the flea population. After you apply the spot treatment you will notice the dogs itching more for a couple of hours. I did a google search on the active ingredients and one of the medications attacks the central nervous system of the flea causing hyperexcitation. I believe the eratic flea behavior before they finally died was causing the excess itching but even that settled down shortly.

Wood ticks are abundant where I live because I am next to a forest. If it didn't work as well as Frontline I would have been able to tell. My dog is active and it is nearly impossible for us to go for a walk in the woods without picking up a tick. I have not seen either ticks or fleas on my dog.

I applied the first month and did not have any fleas, but my Yorkie was covered in ticks from a short walk we took through my yard. Second month was applied one week ago to at least control the fleas and now she is covered in fleas. She has had three flea baths in less than 24 hours. Not happy that I wasted my money and still have to go back to the vet to get a different medication.

Wanted to switch back to Frontline from K9 Advantix (doesn't work) however Frontline is expensive and I didn't want 6 months worth. Thought I would try PetArmor brand. Works the same as Frontline and actually stays on my dogs skin unlike K9 Advantix. It is the same ingredients as Frontline so if your dog reacted to Frontline they will react to this as well. Usually makes my dog very sleepy for 24 hours, then she's fine. Will buy again hopefully they make it in a 6 pack for next season.

The TV ads say it's the same as Frontline at half the price. Thus far, I've two Golden examples it is working as advertised. The TV ads also say, "available exclusively at Walmart and Sam's." Good luck with that. The shelves were empty. Save yourself some time, trouble and gas. Order it online; the prices are identical.
