Silver Spring 3-1/4in High Aluminum Mobility Threshold Ramp for Wheelchairs, Scooters, and Power Chairs

It seems very sturdy and today we finally put it together and placed it as Jim's surgery and the need for the ramp is soon. The directions were not super clear about how the different pieces screwed together (once we set it up we now can see what we missed but put it together upside down so couldn't quite figure it out at the time) and until we had it in place we didn't see where the screws went to keep the individual pieces lined up - there was really nothing in the directions about how to lay it out so we did it upside down to get the screws in that held the legs to the flaps. Just a small modification made the Optional top flat useable and it really makes the 5 1/4" difference manageable with a wheelchair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The ramp came quickly and was easy to put together. It fit perfectly, but ended up not being quite right for my stroke impaired mother. Customer service was a dream-seriously, the best I have ever encountered!!! I would recommend this company and their products to any and everyone!

We were very pleases with our purchase of the 2-1/4 Silver Aluminum Modular Self Supporting Threshold Ramp. We thought we would have to cut it to make adjustments, but it wasn"t necessary. I purchased to mini ramps for my home. They required assembly which was quite simple. The ramps are light but very sturdy. The top of the ramp is adjustable allowing some adjustment in the event it is not an exact fit. The ramp comes with pins to keep then from sliding but are easily removed if necessary. I ordered these ramps for my son. In error, I ordered one ramp the wrong size. When I called to return the ramp, customer service took my order for the replacement and refunded me for the one that was the wrong size. They told me they did not want the ramp back and asked me to donate it to someone who could use it. I gave the ramp to a family who also has a young child in a wheel chair.

Love this ramp --- works great! It was so easy to put together, nice and sturdy. The price was also great --- I will only need it temporarily as I am recuperating from extensive foot surgery and cannot put weight on that foot for another 6-8 weeks so I am getting around my house in a motorized chair. I did not want something permanent or costly. I can now go outside by myself with this ramp.
