bought a little while after the snow as gone....had to wait a few weeks to use it....but started right up and did a very good job!!......two things I would add though...a way to shut off the gas so the carburetor could run dry!!.....and stronger handles!!....the handles on this model bend and sway too easily!

3/08/14- just purchased this tiller and when I got home read a little manual. put oil and gas in it pulled crank about 5 times and it fired right up. So while it was running ( I had laid out a 20x20 area for my starter garden) locked in wheels (a little tricky at first ) and away I went, first pass was a little high and adjusted tines a little deeper on second pass .its not a problem for this tiller .I will let it set a few days ( to let roots die ) and then till it in the full depth . as of now I see NO PRPBLEMS WITH THIS LITTLE BEAST. will post more later after I have completed the garden.

We've had this tiller for one season, and it is the best! It will break new ground for you, and then you can make the dirt as fine as you want by setting the depth. We made a large garden in our back yard and it was easy with this machine. I gave the ease of starting a lower mark only because it's not electric, but that doesn't mean it was hard to start. I recommend this to anyone wanting a tough durable tiller that will do that job.

After spending a few weeks and a few converstations with everyone from Dealers to repair folks, I purchased the Troy-Bilt bronco. For the price this is one good little piece of equipment. I find the small width perfect for weeding and cultivating my fields. And I grow on over 5 acres. It always starts on the first or second pull. Allows me to walk in the adjacent row and control it with one hand. And most importantly, does a good job for a small tiller. I would reccomend it to anyone that is looking for a quality small tiller that is easy to use.
