as far as dehumidifiers go, I certainly cannot complain about it. I would not go without the auto shut off feature. digital read outs make it easy to use. A little noisy, but not too bad. had it been silent I would have gave it 5 stars.

I dry my cotton clothes on line in basement, so we needed an efficient and quiet dehumidifier. After LOTS of research I decided on the Danby 60 pt. I am so pleased with it's performance! And what a pleasure to NOT hear it :)
