Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Gaming Console

Elites CAN get the Red Ring of Death, although supposedly the frequency of which they do is lower than with the other versions of the console. My Elite just red ringed last night, after a year and 2 months, and was my SECOND 360 to red ring in less than 3 years. I purchased the Elite under the impression that it would not red ring, and yet I saw it do just that with my own eyes. It was great while it lasted, but I'm not sure if it's worth even the shipping to have it repaired since the failure rate on repaired 360's that have red ringed once already is quite high. I do reccomend them, but only with the knowledge that an Elite can fail just like any other Xbox 360.

i got this november the 9th 2007 and it has worked flawlassly (unlike my spelling) until october the 1st 2008 it kept saying that it could not read the disk. =( ..... This is an awesome product for serious gamers no matter how many people tell you that the pro console is a better deal it's not. You dont realize how much space a few games take up on your hard drive if you think that the pro console is a better deal go ahead and buy it but if you are a REAL gamer like me u really need this.

its great for xbox live because of its memory space i purchased it last year and have never had a problem with it It is worth what u pay for and it has a better cooling system than the white one because my friends all have white ones and most of them had problems within a month im not saying the white one is completely horrible its just that this version is built better in some aspects

After I recently purchased my 360 elite from Walmart.com via the elite starter bundle, I immediately began setting up everything I needed. This system is possibly the best system I've ever purchased. My wireless controllers work great and with click and play charge kits it makes it a whole lot easier. The graphics output is phenomenal (the game that came with my bundle was Burnout: Paradise) even though I have a small analog television to use at the moment. I have yet to experience Xbox Live until I get my wireless adapter but I'm sure that will further improve the enjoyment that I already have with my 360 Elite.

I have owned the xbox 360 since it has come out. I recently purchased the bundle pack on walmart.com. The elite has the new extra added heat sink which lets the machine run cooler and helps keep it running longer and smoother. The 120GB Hard Drive is what I needed for all my movie and demo download from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The Machine runs quiter and cooler than earlier models and is a must buy if you're in the market for an Xbox 360. Compared to the PS3 the Xbox beats it in every element. Loads faster, better Online Gameplay, and all around easy to use great machine. I don't expect any problems out of my elite, but I know if a problem arrises, my 1 Year factory warranty will cover it, and I'll have a new Xbox shipped to my house within a week. Thats how good Xbox Service care is.Hope this review helps your decision making on the purchase of a new Xbox 360 Elite. Xbox 360 Elite 10/10 Stars for me.....Must Buy....
