Great Value Automatic Dishwasher Gel, Orange Scent, 75 oz

I would have been better off using nothing. My clear drinking glasses came out of the dishwasher brown. What's left in the bottle is going in the trash.

Well... I wanted to like this stuff. At first glance, it's a little less than half the price of the name brand dishwasher gel, and the consistency looks the same. However, that is where the comparisons end. This stuff is absolutely awful. Even if you completely pre-rinse your plates & dishes thoroughly, dishes come out with a residue and things just don't feel very clean. The silverware even looks kinda dull. And this is with a very nice, fairly new Bosch Dishwasher and having a water softener installed. What I don't understand is.. I actually used Great Value Dishwasher Gel, a few years ago, and it did a wonderful job. It was just like the lime-green bottle, name brand. But.. I guess they either changed the supplier or the formula because it's certainly not the same stuff. Don't make the same mistake I did. Buy the name brand and avoid this stuff.

Great-Value-Orange-Auto Dishwasher-Gel- is so powerful and gets everything clean without scrubbing them first and there are no spots ever. I'd recommend this to everyone that wants low cost dishwashers soap.

Gel is thin, but the cost is low.

Thought I'd give this a try to save a few bucks, not worth it at all! Very watered down weak gel/soap, had to use 3 times as much and it still didn't clean my dishes very well! I'm sticking with Cascade. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, when I want something clean enough to eat off of I won't be using this! * Great Value orange auto dishwasher gel
