The shampoo doesn't lather great. Takes alot to wash my hair. The conditioner is excellent. I will definitely continue using conditioner. Not the shampoo.

Dear Walmart Customer Service, My wife recently purchased an Olaplex shampoo from your store. She uses this product regularly and immediately noticed that something is wrong with this particular bottle. The texture, smell, and appearance of the shampoo are very different from the usual Olaplex formula. This makes us believe it might be a defective batch, or possibly a quality issue. In contrast, the conditioner purchased at the same time appears normal and has no issues. We would like to return the shampoo and request a refund or replacement. Please let us know how to proceed and whether you need any batch numbers, photos, or proof of purchase. Thank you for your support. Best regards,

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I was skeptical; since there were several negative reviews on the damage done to other peoples hair. I went ahead and made the purchase. I used it for approximately 2 weeks; ensuring the to follow the directions. The first week, I was excited but did notice that my normal twist didn't take as well and the ends seemed to not want to twist. I used again a 2nd week, same thing and no shrinkage at all. Unfortunately, by the 3rd week I was sitting in a hair dresser chair and getting approximately 2 inches cut off due to very damaged ends. Also I'm working to get all the product out of my hair and getting it back to a healthy state. So with that said, while I'm not upset about having to cut my hair (it's a cute cut); I am upset about damage done to my hair and the money spent on the all the products.

This is simply not OLAPLEX!! I have been using OLAPLEX for over two years and I can tell you from the texture, color and smell this is not OLAPLEX! The shampoo was the bottle I ended up opening first and I felt right away when trying to use it that it was not the real thing, the shampoo didn't lather and I needed 5x the amount of product to even get my hair to feel like it was clean. When you touch real OLAPLEX it feels creamy and it lathers pretty much instantly, this felt like slime and did not lather! The lot codes are also 4x longer than the original bottles I had previous used. Once I noticed this was not OLAPLEX, I looked at the conditioner and it was bluer than the open bottle I had. If you've ever smelt OLAPLEX 5 you've noticed that it has almost no fragrance or it is very faint but opening the fake conditioner it smelt heavily of perfume, almost like opening a bottle of perfume. The smell gave me an instant migraine!! Might I add, I have extremely sensitive skin and my scalp irritated and red from one use of the alleged OLAPLEX!!! The bottles also have the same ingredients listed in the same order, so now I don't even know what I put on my head that has given me irritation. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMS!! WALMART SHOULD BE ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSED THAT THEY ARE LISTING A SELLER THAT IS FALSIFYING PRODUCTS!! THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED FOR FAKING THE REAL PRODUCT!!
