This is my third access lorado cover on my third truck since 2005. My last lorado was 9 years old when I sold the truck and it looked and worked like it did on day 1. You can find cheaper covers, but I would rather pay for quality up front and be done
We use our truck to camp. Our German Shepherd takes most the back seat of our crew cab living minimal room for gear. Gear must go in the bed, with this cover all our gear is stowed in a dry place. We had this cover on our old truck for five years with absolutely no issues so knew it was must have for the new one when we traded trucks.
I was going to buy a fiberglass cover like I had on my past 3 trucks. But once they are on they are diificult to remove. I had a custom made vinyl tonneau on my very first truck and it lasted 10 years. I liked the looks of a low profile cover so I decided to try one again. I have had the Access cover for 3 months now and it is everything I hoped it would be. It fits nicely, the components are good quality, and it makes my truck look better. I would buy this product again but it will be a while since this one looks like it will last a long tme.
This is my second Access Lorado Cover, the last one lasted seven years in Ohio weather and was just fine when I traded my Ford for a Toyota Tacoma 2014 pickup. This unit is pretty easy to install but I must warn Tacoma 2014 owners that they should be sure to remove the front inner rail tie down rail as well as those on the sides. The instructions said to remove the sides but made no mention of the front rail. Overall I feel this is one of the best looking and functioning covers offered!
I had this cover on my 2010 F150 and liked it so much I bought one for my new 2012 Ram 1500. Installation is a breeze. I like the way it fits inside the truck bed rather than on top. This allows the use of stake pocket tie-downs. I installed it in about 30 minutes being careful to get the side rails straight and level. Looks great! OK...Edit after having product for 2 years. I am having problems keeping the clamps on. The rear clamp continues to fall off even when tightened to the max. Also, the rubber seal that attaches to the side rails has started to slip upwards which leaves a bad appearance. I will be looking for a tonneau cover that doesn't use this type of clamping system. Well, after writing the above I was surprised to receive a package from Access with 6 new clamps. I didn't ask for it. This, I believe, shows the level of customer service provided by RealTruck and Access. I am very grateful for the new clamps and certainly didn't expect this. Kudos to RealTruck and Access!
